Everybody should read "Mountains Beyond Mountains" to see how devoted Paul Farmer (who co-founded PIH) has been to helping Haitians for decades. They had reduced TB to almost zero in their area of about 150,000 people before the earthquake. "Save the Children" and Red Cross are also good. The Haitian government should make a list of the agencies that are doing good work. I heard there was an architect making plans for a new capital near Port-au-Prince. Best wishes!
