FCC opens up wireless white spaces!

The Federal Communications Commission, in a rare move away from further corporate media consolidation of the public airwaves, yesterday “voted to approve the unlicensed use of “white spaces” — empty airwaves between television channels — to provide high-speed Internet access nationwide.”  Via Free Press.
